Hidden inside East Renfrewshire Golf Club, Pilmuir reservoir offers wild brown fishing in scenic surroundings. It is hard to believe that the reservoir is so close to the city! Pilmuir has two natural spawning burns which are protected as they follow their route through the golf course.

Boat and bank fly fishing is available to members who pay the extra subscription and from 2017, the club has introduced a small stock of rainbow trout to enhance the fishing and maximise the members' catching opportunities.

At 16 acres and enjoying sheltered surroundings, there are plenty of fly fishing opportunities.
